WHAT WE ARE DOING TO PROTECT OURSELVES AND OUR CUSTOMERS
As someone who had surgery for lung cancer last year and is still recovering, I am extremely careful with personal protection… and this protection extends to how I handle supplies, products, and shipping for your order.
I am constantly monitoring the situation and official scientific medical advice and am taking additional measures to protect customers as well as myself. According to experts, the chances of contracting COVID-19 from an inanimate object are very low. Even so, my protocols are very strict (some might say excessive!)
Specifically, with respect to COVID-19, additional measures implemented by the products produced in-house by Pyramid Printworks include the following:
- I work alone from my private studio attached to my home and only go out (fully geared up!) for essential excursions like mail, supplies, and important appointments.
- I am relentless with handwashing and sanitizing procedures.
- I only obtain supplies from well-known vendors with active safety and sanitation protocols.
- When any supplies are purchased, they are “quarantined” outside for a minimum of 3 days to as long as a week or more before being opened and brought into the studio.
- Hard supplies and equipment are wiped down with alcohol-based disinfectant or DeCon 30 prior to use.
- Soft supplies and garments are entirely heat pressed at 350 degrees before we print or decorate them.
- I also wear a high-end respirator mask while working – primarily to protect my lungs from microscopic fibers and particles that can fly around when handling materials and fabrics… but the added benefit is it prevents my breathing from landing on your merchandise.
WHAT OUR DELIVERY PRINT PARTNERS ARE DOING
Amazon and RedBubble have their own systems and protocols, over which we have no control. They have stated that they are taking precautionary measures according to government and scientific guidelines to ensure the health and wellbeing of their employees, partners, and customers:

WHAT OUR DELIVERY SERVICES ARE DOING
In response to COVID-19, all delivery carriers are taking precautionary measures according to government and scientific guidelines to ensure the health and wellbeing of their drivers and customers.
Most carriers operate a contact free delivery service which means that you won’t be required to sign for any parcel that’s delivered.
There is currently no impact to our delivery services at this stage, however we encourage all customers to use your home address or a mail box service location for delivery, and ensure that someone will be there to receive the package.
You can see all carrier guidelines and measures upon visiting the carrier’s website. You will receive an email upon shipping to confirm delivery and tracking information.
DELIVERY TIMES
All products are custom made when you order. Because I am producing everything myself, I can start to work as soon as the order arrives – there’s no big company serving hundreds of clients with a long line of orders waiting to be processed! That being said, it takes a little bit longer than if you were buying something pre-made.
Once your order arrives in my inbox, I get to work on the design and prepare for the printing. How many orders arrive that day, and when, determines how fast the turn-around time is. Typically your item will be printed within 1 to 2 days after you place the order.
Currently I keep a limited amount of inventory on hand, so if I need to order a component, it adds an additional 1 to 3 days to processing time. I have my awesome suppliers on speed-dial, and most are local!
Therefore, your order should take from 2 to 5 days from the time you click “order” until the time it’s shipped.
Once the package is mailed, shipping times vary based on the carrier and the current situation in the world. Recently there have been mail delays from several extra days to several extra WEEKS beyond normal. We will provide you a tracking number so you can follow the progress of your package online.
